# Alternative for XBee S2?

XBee S2 pro are said to be obsolete. what is an alternative module that we can use? we need it for wireless switching. Thank you.

Farnell are running down stocks of Series 2 with no sign of S2C replacements.  
RS have some S2C modules.  
Digikey has the best stock of all XBees.
