Hi I have a problem with an AnywhereUSB device, it works fine when I am plugging a Logitech USB IO Pen but after a couple of hours (10 days) I need to restart the AnywhereUSB device to have it working again. It is not that the Anywhere device stops working but the content of the PEN data is truncated. Only after I restart the AnywhereUSB device does it work again. Any idea ?

Which AnywhereUSB driver are you running? Click “View / Driver Information” in the AnywhereUSB Configuration Utility and tell me the version of the file “awusbsys.sys”.
-
Does this Logitech USB IO Pen exhibit this behavior when it’s either attached directly to the same PC or attached to a standard (USB-attached) USB hub instead of the AnywhereUSB?
-
Have you tried other driver versions of the Logitech USB IO Pen?
I do use
awusbsys.sys 1.90.04
awvusbd.sys 1.90.01
ionhub.sys 1.90.01
awusbcfg.exe 1.90.1
FWAW19001… 1.90.005
OK, thank you. Please answer the other 2 questions.

There is no other drivers we are running the latest
I’ll e-mail you a newer beta AnywhereUSB driver. Let me know if that helps or not.
Hi,
I have tried again and again and still the file that reaches the server is corrupted. Now this is a major issue because our client was considering buying a couple of 100 pens in different location i.e. about 50 USB Boxes. But if we can’t figure out a way to have it working we will loose the project.
What can we do to help you to track the issue ?
The beta driver I previously mentioned is released now. You can download it here:

Hi,
We installed the new driver, unfortunately there is no difference, the file is still truncated at reception. Can we enable a sort of debug mode on the PC that would help you to trace the issue ?
We’d need one of those pens in order to re-create and diagnose the issue. Would you be willing and able to send us one?
