API for the Edgeport 4s

We have purchased an Edgeport 4s (232/422/485) where the RS interface can be configured in software through the Edgeport Configuration Utility. Although this gives us the basic control, we would really like to control the RS interface type through an API and embed this control in out application. Is this possible?
