battery powered xbee as remote control (button), always asleep until button pressed (Aloha)

Hi,

Is it possible to use 2 XBEE pro IEEE 802.15.4 (XPB24) where one is battery powered and always asleep until a button is pressed. Then this Xbee sends a message to the other Xbee that is not battery powered and always listening. The battery powered Xbee goes back to sleep, doesn’t have to get acknowledgement or anything. (Just Aloha)

On receiving the message by the non battery powered Xbee, he sets a DO 1 second high.

Is this possible, is there an example? Does this setup requires host MCU’s?

Thanks in advance.
