bgpctl prompt hanging

Hello Everyone,
I have configures BGP on digi WR44,
When i tryed to issue the bgp show commands the prompt is hanging…and not responding,
i have upgraded to the latest software version of the WR44 directly from Digi’s ftp.

Can anyone assist?

Thanks

Please update the firmware using flash writer. Flashwriter will erase all existing files including the config. This will remove the problem files.

If you want config file which is on the device then, you should download a copy of “config.da0” (and “pwds.da0” if present) via FTP before flashwriting. (Also if you’re using the firewall you will need a copy of “fw.txt”)

This is an old thread, but this reply is for everyones benefit.

The bgpctl command hanging suggests that BGP is not actually running.

Please see http://www.digi.com/support/productdetail?pid=5499&type=documentation and review QN8, in particular Section 8 which explains how to enable BGP debug.

You will probably find that the BGP file has a syntax error and BGP fails to start.

Oh, I do not understand these http://www.acrylicjewelry.org

Likewise Maybe I have to do some research work.
