I’ve lost the root password last week while trying to change it and I have to move the AUAB/14.

I know the ip-adress and can manage the new DC switch to give-it the same.

Is it enough ?

If i operate an hardawre reset do i lost the Groups configuration …?

So long as the IP address is the same, it should work fine in the move. Otherwise a factory reset is the only way to restore the unit to the default password and it will wipe the group configuration on the unit.
