# Can I Telnet into the DigiOne SP and use it to send RS-232/RS-485 commands?

I am using SuperPutty to telnet onto the DigiOne SP. That’s very easy, I can also use my ATEN USB-\>RS-232 to send commands into the Digi. I want to know if there is a method to send commands out of the Digi serial whilst in Telnet.
