compile occasionally causes PC reboot

Sometimes when I’m compiling in GHS (seems only to occur in the big applications, multi-MB) it just suddenly and with no warning will black-screen and reboot (no BSOD). The rather vague windows error report when it comes back alive is a driver issue caused immediate shutdown. Anybody else run into this?

I’m using arm421, and int506 or int507, compiling on a newer IBM box running XP. This only happens occasionally, maybe 2% of the time. It seems to happen when there’s a lot of other windows on the screen (some kind of CPU or memory overload issue?)

check your memory / hardware on your pc. only hardware / driver problem can cause windows 20000 and above to reboot. Do you use dongle for licensing?
