Compiled Kernel

Hi We are using 2 x PortServer TS 16 currently connected via Windows but need to move to SLES9. Problem is we have a (modified)compiled kernel and cannot therefore install the Linux drivers. Is there a dynamic driver for SLES9 that would not require a kernel rebuild?

There are no dynamic drivers available. However, you do not need to compile the kernel in order to install the source rpm drivers.

You will need the matching kernel sources, along with other dependencies:

Thanks for the reply.
Will the SUSE9 driver work ok with SLES9?

Excellent…Thank You

Yes it will work with all SuSE versions from 8.1 to 10.1.
