# Connect Wi-ME Serial Port Logging

I can see how to turn on serial port logging using the web interface on the Connect Wi-ME (E or F firmware), and I appear to have done so, but I can’t see how to access the logs. They don’t appear in the File Management menu, or anywhere else that I can see.

How do I access the serial port logs?

And do these logs collect both incoming and outgoing characters?

serial port logging can be enabled in serial port-\> Configuration -\> Advanced Serial Settings -\> enable Port Logging, maximal 64KB Log Size.

The log is only collecting serial incoming traffic no outgoing characters are logged

the logs can be accessed from the Webpage in

Management \> Serial Ports, and then click the link for “Port Logs”
