I am using customizeAceGetInterfaceAddrInfo in a while loop to test if I am connected to my network and have a valid IP address.
If my WAP (wireless access point) is ON and then if I turn on the Digi WiME, customizeAceGetInterfaceAddrInfo
returns true right away.
However if my WiMe is powered ON outside the network, say in a vehicle, and the vehicle enters the range of the wireless access point, there is almost a minute or two delay before which customizeAceGetInterfaceAddrInfo returns true.
Also I am using DHCP.
Is there any explanation for this or solution to speed this up?
