# dbps not factory default. Has long password from label. Can't change?

Hey Guys,  
I have a connectport 16 that does not have the dbps default password. It has 12 character password from the label that I would like to change but have not had any luck.  
I set up “root” in users with the new password but still no luck.  
Any suggestions?

John,  
Please reset CPTS to the factory, login as ‘root’ or ‘admin’ as user and login using the password printed on a label.  
You can change settings once you are connected
