Discovering xbee on XCTU

I am using a control unit that consists of arduino, ethernet shield, xbee shield and an xbee to control a number of leds using an android. I have a problem in discovering the xbee on the XCTU while it is connected to this control unit.

Is there a solution to this problem without removing the ATmega328 chip from Arduino?

Yes, you need to write and port over an application that basically turns off the processor and just allows the PC to talk directly to the radio. IE you need to bypass that processor.
