Edgeport parallel port compatibility

I need to connect a device to a parallel port and I want to use the edgeport, but I’m not sure if it will work. I know that the standard USB to parallel or printer adapter do not work as they are made to talk to printers only.

the specific question is if the Edgeport parallel port fully implements ECP or EPP?

Edgeport models that offer parallel ports are for printers only and they follow the same restrictions as standard USB-to-parallel printers.
