Firmware Versions

I just want to make sure I’m understanding the firmware versions correctly. The POST version (ex. 82000867_A) is the current firmware on the device, whereas the EOS version (ex. 82000856_B) is the software on the device. When creating a new image with the dev kit I am replacing the EOS with my own software so the EOS version won’t really be relevant?

The previous ME modules made use of three images, BOOT, POST and EOS (a.k.a. firmware).

When you build an image with the development kit you are building a replacement for the EOS, not the POST.
