# How do I remove SIM card from a WR11XT?

Hi

not sure if this is the same on the XT

but on the wr11 you lift the sim cover and slide the sim out i find i have to use a piece of paper under the sim or thin card to help pull the SIM out

Thanks for your help, I was trying to install a 3FF Micro SIM rather than a 2FF standard SIM. The 3FF fit when installed sideways, but I had to disassemble the WR11XT to remove the SIM (ID10T Operator Error.)

Anyhow, I appreciate your reply, once the 2FF SIM was properly installed the removal method was obvious.
