# Imx6 android kernel

Hello

any one try to rebuild the imx6 android kernel?

when run:" make ARCH=arm xconfig", it prompt:  
make[1]: \*\*\* [scripts/kconfig/qconf.o] error 1,  
make：\*\*\* [xconfig] error 2.

OS:ubuntu-14.04-desktop-amd64,  
jdk-6u45-linux-x64,  
gcc and g++ version 4.8.2,  
qt version:5.2.1

any suggestions?

maue sure that you have all necessary dependencies installed.

Refer [https://source.android.com/source/initializing.html](https://source.android.com/source/initializing.html)  
It talks about Ubuntu 12.  
Try those, if not you will need to find out necessary components for Ubuntu 14
