Hello,

can anyone tell me what’s the maximum output current, I can get from a XBee (Series 2, ZB) output port?

I can’t find it in the documentation.

There exists a [thread regarding this question](http://www.digi.com/support/forum/viewthread_thread,239), saying 4 to 5 mA. But this is for series 1,802.15.4 modules.

Per page 17 of the ZB manual (rev G), the max sink or source current on most pins is 4mA. A few (RSSI/PWN, DIO10, DIO4) can sink/source 8mA. However some total current for all IO pins should not exceed 40mA.
