# Portserver TS4 MEI not saving configuration settings

I reset a Portserver TS MEI to factory defaults and when I change the settings (IP address, submask, etc.) in command-line mode, the settings do not get changed.

I can swap the TS with different units of the same model and it works OK on the other units.

Does this indicate a defect in the TS, or am I doing something wrong?

This indicates a problem with the TS unit (possible bad flash). You should contact Digi Tech. Support to pursue possible repair.
