processor fault LED

A new OP7200 ran briefly and then began to blink its red processor fault LED about once every 3 seconds. Unless I power it up with the prog cable attached in which case it is solid red.

Does the once every 3 seconds mean anything ?? (Just curious while I wait to hear back from the vendor.)
