I am configuring Digi ConnectPort X2’s using the Digi Connect Programmer tool and I would like for each device to have a unique password. It appears the only way I can change the password in the tool is through the .rci file.
The problem is the password in the tag must be encrypted. I tried setting the tag to and uploading the new password in plain text but the change does not seem to take.
Is there any way to upload the password in plain text or encrypt the new password locally?
Try going through the web ui under users. You can change the password there.
