Which Firmware to use for an end point?

I’m setting up as an end device, but I see my options are

API
AT
Analog IO
Digital IO
PH
[/ul]

I understand API vs AT, but I can’t find anything on the latter three, I will be reading analog so should I be using that?

Inferring from your other question about what you are trying to do I would say pick one of AT or API mode ( depending on how you want to interpret your results in software ) and use one of those.

The other firmwares have code to drive things like the SPI bus.
