# XBee PRO S1 replace antenna with SMA plug in atenna

Hi, I am new to this application, still in beginning stage. Is that possible to unsolder current antenna and replace with sma connector in the base and hooked in sma antenna.

Currently i do have XBee Pro S1.

no it is not possible as components are needed to make the proper connections.
