# xtend on xbib-r-dev?

This is more of a question  
We just bought the xBee dev starter kit, with the XBIB-R-DEV communication board.  
It looks like we could plug in the xtends we have, pin-wise.  
Is this possible?  
If not, what are the extra pins for on the XBIB-R-DEV?
