AMD 64bit driver on Linux

Hi,

I have a working installation of the DGRP driver on a Linux box (i586 arch). I am now trying to install the driver on a new box, with the following characteristics-

Linux 2.6.15-26-amd64-generic #1 SMP PREEMPT x86_64 GNU/Linux

I built the drivers using the 40002086_M.tgz source package (DGRP-1.9.6). The build and installation process did not show any errors (I used the SSL layer packaged with the Realport source).

During configuration (using IP Port:771, Access Mode:0666, ), the insmod step fails, with the following error:

insmod: error inserting ‘/lib/modules/2.6.15-26-amd64-generic/misc/dgrp.ko’: -1 Invalid module format

This tells me that something in the build process did not detect correctly. Would appreciate any help/advice you can provide. Thanks,

You’ll probably want to call into Technical Support on this one, since the latest pre-release Realport driver for Linux is currently 1.9-8. You can get the link for that driver when you contact Support.
