Can the modem be removed from the housing

Hi!

I am an engineering student,right now working on a project in which I am using two modems that is running out of space , I need suggestions to sort out this problem. Is there any possibility of enclosing the project in its personal housing by eliminating the modems? Suggestion will be appreciated regarding transistors.

Which product are you referring to? Any of the XBee Boxed product offer you OEM modules versions of the XBee that can be used. Just understand that an OEM module is a 3V device with a 3V UART.
