ConnectCore MP25 Yocto build fails

I have followed the instructions for native Linux.

Current DEY-5.0 (scarthgap branch) in use, no changes.
Build (all image types) fails on “No IMAGE_CMD defined for IMAGE_FSTYPES entry ‘stsplitpartitions’ “

ERROR: /usr/local/dey-5.0/sources/meta-openembedded/meta-multimedia/recipes-multimedia/images/meta-multimedia-image-all.bb: No IMAGE_CMD defined for IMAGE_FSTYPES entry ‘stsplitpartitions’ - possibly invalid type name or missing support class

Docker container build works just fine.

DEY-4.0 builds ok in the very same environment.

this question is worked by Digi Technical Support through your distributor.

Additional info
DEY 5.0-r2.2 works but DEY 5.0-r3.1 fails

This issue is related to the latest ST release based on Yocto Scarthgap. Our DEY Yocto layers are not yet compatible with OpenSTLinux v6.2, so if the customer is using DEY-5.0-r3 they should pin their meta-st-stm32mp layer to the exact tagged SHA used by DEY-5.0-r3.

Please use commit:

In other words, the customer should not use the latest meta-st-stm32mp revision, as it is not compatible with our current DEY-5.0-r3 baseline.

in the meantime Digi has Updated GitHub manifest to use fixed sha1 for ST layers! So this will not occur for the st layer again.

Hello , does the Digi ConnectCore MP255 Development Kit is equipped with two chips of 1 GB DDR4 or only 1 GB chip of RAM. the description is not clear. Does it has debugger onboard ?

Hi,

The ConnectCore MP255 has a single 1 GB RAM chip.

Regarding debugging, the Development Kit includes a JTAG connector that can be used to debug the CPU.

Best regards,
