If both CTS & RTS are not used, should it be pull-up or pull-down externally with a resistor? or just simply disable the pin function using X-CTU?

Ah, now I’ve seen the answer to part of that … yes, page 7 of the product manual (manual_xb_oem-rf-modules_802.15.4_v1.xAx.pdf) says in the last bullet point that “unused pins should be left disconnected”. I don’t know whether it’s advisable to disable the function as well (though I would, if only for neatness sake).
