I would transfer charakters from and into internal memory via SPI interface. What is the correct initialisation for this mode and is it possible to transfer single charakters? Which status bit information I can analyse to detect successful transmission of data?
Please first check out the latest errata for the SPI functionality since you wanted to use DMA in conjunction with SPI and there happened to be problems with this reported lately.
