using a ras 8 on customer site Various problems so decided to do a firm/driver upgrade.
drivers were already latest 5.0.314.0
firmware FEP file \system32\drivers\FepDense.Bin
was not in this folder (in fact did a search and not on whole server)
question is why? can i just put latest in and it will upgrade firmware?
how do i tell what firmware is being used currently?
I’ve got the same question. I also have the latest driver installed but cannot find “fepdense.bin” in the Windows driver directory specified - all I find is “dgarfep.bin”. and the latest firmware that is listed on your support site is not even called either of these names. So I have the same question - how do you tell which version of firmware is currently implemented and how do you change it?
