How do i include NI with a transmission

Hello

I am quite new to setting up the xbee pro’s
at the moment i have them transmitting data from a temperature sensor and voltage readings.
they wake up every 15 mins and send the data and then go back to sleep.
i do not send a request to them for the information.

I also get the address of the sending unit
but how do i get the xbee to send the NI (node identifier) the text field.

The NI value is not included in general communications. You need to issue a Node Discovery (atnd) to obtain that information.
