It is possible to boot ConnectCore 6UL from SD Card using SPI

Hello everyone,

Could someone answer me a software and hardware related question?

I am working on a custom board with the CCIMX6UL Application Processor. In the DIGI reference design, the SD Card is connected via 4 Bit Dataline to the processor with the note that camera and SD card can not be used simultaneously during the operation.

For my application exactly this is necessary. So it is possible to use the SPI Interface to boot yocto from the SD card.

Are there other possibilities to use the camera module and the SD simultaneously during operation?

It is generally impossible to boot cc6ul from SD card.
cc6ul has NAND to boot from. or you can implement eMMc like on cc6ul SBC. I am not sure how are you using SD card.
