Does anyone have a handle on the memory requirments for embedded Linux? Thanks.
The FSForth Linux dev kit has 8MB (4M * 16) FLash and 16MB (4M * 32) of SDRAM on it… From what I can remember of the sales pitch, just to boot up the system with their linux port on it you needed 4MB of RAM and 2MB of Flash… without your apps code space and RAM requirements… We never used Linux port in the end so this may be wrong Regards, Dave
