I have a MiniCom OP6800 and need to have one of the inputs set up as a machine speed. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about wiring an incremental encoder / tach to it and having part of the machine turn it and then doing some kind of calculation to get something close to the machine speed. Does anyone know how many pulses per second these units can handle?
