I need to design a hardware based on the Digi 9C module.
The hardware needs to have USB interface for future applications:
1)PC connected shall run some type of host program to load new sttings into the designed h/w, collect data from the designed h/w, etc.
2)the designed h/w shall act as a host to other connected pieces of equipment.
Questions:
a) are USB pins on the 9C module’s edge connector a cooper copy of one of the 2 USB ports “readily” available on the module?
b) What defines the “upstream” and “downstream” USB port in terms of h/w design?
