network address discovery (API Operation)

Hi,

So i am communicating in API modus with the XBee series 2, I have a question about the network address discovery, when i send an Transmission Request frame to my XBee module I set the 16-bit network adress to 0xFFFE, i know the first time it will do a network address discovery broadcast. But what happens when i send the same frame again? Will it still perform a network address discovery broadcast, or will it look up the 16-bit adres from its table, like in Transparent Operation?. Just wanted to know if using the 16-bit in my application can speed up the communication.
