I am trying to get the persistent registry work without the use of regtool.exe .
What is it missing to get it work normally with the system.hv file on a Flashdisk (nand flash partition) ?

In the most recent BSP’s all regtool.exe does is copy relevant data between the system registry and U-boot environment variables. Mostly just network settings.
In older BSP’s it was used to write the system registry to flash, I’m not sure that it’s needed for that any-longer.
