Phantom ports in Digi??

It seems that occasionally, some of my digis will act as if they have extra ports (e.g. in the web interface it lists 30 ports for a TS 16). I’m not sure how long these mystery ports have existed, but I got a call about these ports constantly refreshing screens. I’ve got a bunch of vt100’s hanging off these digis. Resetting the Digi cleared up the problem for the moment, but it’s a bit unsatisfying…

Is this a known problem, or is this something that I should open a tech support ticket with Digi about?

Without knowing more, it sounds as though you have multiple telnet sessions running on the unit (showing additional “telnet” ports).

Any ports/ttys listed above 16 would be inidicative of a telnet/TCP/UDP connection.
