I need to name the ports of my Digi 16em Acceleport device to something other than COMX, I need them to be DIGI_X. This was possible with the original drivers that came with the board (several years old), but I can’t make it work under Windows 2000 Server or Windows XP. All of my drivers are written to look for specific port names that were picked years ago and I don’t want to have to rewrite my code. Can I do this?
