Xbee module has ssl?

Hi

i am working on xbee wifi module S6B. i am able to send and receive data through internet (using rest API). Now i am moving into security aspect, is Xbee has any security engine ?

If i want to implement SSL / AES with Xbee, does it support or i need some other module?

The XBee WIFI module does support limited AES functions. It does not support SSL. I would strongly urge you to read over the product manual so you understand what is supported before you go any farther.

I am sorry but I don’t understand your question. WIFI (802.11) and ZigBee are two completely different international standards and have nothing to do with each other.
