ZigBee 802.15.4 - is RSSI in FCS block in API frame over air ???

Hi,
I have been looking at data from XBee Pro using a microchip Zena network analyzer.

There is some difference of opinion between myself and my colleage who may
well be right. The Zena shows that the FCS block in the over air data has RSSI. An example of this in this link.

So to settle this issue, is the RSSI included in the FCS for Zigbee
so that the Zena analyzer is reading the RSSI for the data link
being monitored OR is the Zena using the RSSI for the link from
the node transmitting to the Zena RF MAC/PHY ?

If its the RSSI of the link and not the RSSI to the Zena thats really
good news. If it is simply working out the RSSI when the packet is
received and appending that to the frame that bad news.

Can someone clarify ?

Rob
