12-Bit External ADC needs minimum 2kHz sampling freq, can the XBee-S2 handle this?

Hello there,

This is my first forum post so hopefully I ask the right questions.

I have an external 12-bit ADC, rail to rail, serial output, ideally having a sampling frequency at 20kHz (minimum 4kHz). If I send this digital data to the XBee I figured it would modify the data throughput to roughly 3000 sps and RF data rate to 20ksps, correct?

But I read that it can only do 1kHz sampling frequency, or this only when it does the sampling it’s self? So my question is, can the XBee-S2 handle the above specifications. Any help is appreciated!

No, it does not have the ability to run at that rate.
