We have two Digi One devices. One is up and working in Windows 2000, but we would like to add a second.
When I go into Device Manager under the RealPort driver and choose “Add”, it will only let me add a com port.
How do I get this unit added?
You may have the driver installed on the machine, but what you are seeing in Device Manager, Multi-port Serial Adapters is the first RealPort device.
If you want to add a second device, you will need to go through the Add/Remove Hardware Wizard and Add a New Device You can then choose Have Disk and point to the location of the RealPort driver. It will prompt you for the IP Address of the second Digi One device and assign it a COM port.
