could anybody tell me if it is possible to use the ALTPIN option for a RS422 connection?
If yes, do you knwow the pinout of the RJ45 8 pin connector?

Altpin is a command relevant only to the DSR/DCD signals and those signals aren’t used in RS422. As for wiring, please refer to page 29 in the manual at this link:
