Anybody changed HDLC on NetOS 6.3 to not use DMA.

I have been informed by Digi that the DMA using HDLC doesnt work on the NS7520 without locking up on receive. You have to change it to not use DMA. Has anybody done this?? Or do I have to totally change the NetOS.
