Automatic setting of EdgePort/8 Port Flags

Hello,

I need to automate the settings of EdgePort/8 during the setup of an application. More specifically, I have to set the Industrial Settings from RS232 to RS422, in order to avoid to ask end users to do so.

How can I do it ? I thought that changing several registry keys could make it but apparently this is not sufficient.

Hello Jérôme,

You can use the ionport.ini file to do this. Usage instructions are in the file ionport.pdf, which is in the Advanced folder of our Edgeport driver package. Here’s a download link if you don’t have it already:
