Bizarre XCTU.EXE install problem

I recently downloaded XCTU version 5.2.7.5 to upgrade my older 5.1.4.2 version. I uninstalled the old version first, then installed the new version. Weird thing happened during the install process, the XCTU install program open up my SigmaTel Audio driver program and proceed to install itself as this audio driver. It never installed the application. Has anyone encountered this kind of thing before? How do I fix it?

In the meantime I re-installed my older version with no problems.

You can get the X-CTU software at the following link, “http://www.digi.com/support/productdetl.jsp?pid=3352&osvid=57&s=316&tp=5&tp2=0”. But 5.2.7.5 version is not supported on 64 bit operating systems. You can also get the general drivers for the different operating systems.

Try installing the X-CTU from the given link.
