Can XBee Industral Gateway be configured to use any local server (non-RM)

Hi,
Can someone suggest configuration needed to configure any server (non-RM based) or any changes needed via Python in-built.
Though user-guide talks about configuring to another RM instance ,it is not very clear.

Sure it can. What it means is that you can use some other Device Cloud to send and receive the data from or control the Gateway with. That is done via the Device Cloud controls.

As for the Python, that is just a matter of creating a socket and send the data over that socket to any server you so choose.

Are there any example of such servers (third party or examples) ? Or if any tips to implement that kind of server is highly appreciated.
