Compiling MIB, alternative compiler to smicng?

Hello,
in future we want to create a new product with SNMP included. Now it’s on me to build a demo application, in which an IP address can be read/manipulated.

  1. Does anyone have a demo, which fits to the requirements above?

  2. Is there a demo license for smicng, or a freeware tool to compile the ASN.1 files?

  3. As I understood now the compilation steps are:
    ASN.1 --(smicng)–> unknown format --(mibman)–> cfiles
    Is there a definition for the unknown format in the middle?
