Connect XBEE shield + rn 171 wifly module + arduino uno

Hi,

I am a newbie. I have arduino uno and RN 171 wifly module . I was wondering if can connect the wifi module using XBEE shield that i have. I am already aware that it is possible to connect rn 171 with arduino without the xbee shield but I want to know if it will work if I connect the xbee shield on top of arduino and then RN - 171 on top of it.

Digi does not manufacture or directly support the devices in question. They only support the XBee modules it’s self which is a 3V CMOS level device. What I would suggest is talking with the manufacture of your Arduino or your XBee Shield to see if if what you what to do is possible.
